Third Film In Paranormal Activity Series To Debut In October 2011

More info is coming in for the upcoming Paranormal Activity 3, the second sequel to the extremely popular “found footage” thriller (reviewed here). The third film is directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, and written by Michael Perry (Perry helped write the screenplay for Paranormal Activity 2). Directors Joost and Schulman are known for their quirky documentary Catfish
Paranormal Activity 3 Trailer
As can be gleamed from the official trailer, Paranormal Activity 3 will center on the lives of sisters Katie and Kristi when they were kids in the 1980s. The demon that has been messing with their families started when they were little girls (as hinted in the first two films).
Paranormal Activity 3 will be released on October 21, 2011.

New trailer is out, and it’s a lot more action packed, with 2x the demon attacks and drag-out-of-the-room scenarios.
