Good review of my favourite film. I’m quite glad it was beaten into submission by E.T. (which happens to be on my TV at the moment) when it was first released. If it had the success of Alien then it would’ve become a franchise & in my eyes suffered from all the crap that comes with it. Apart from one video game, a comic (I think) & the disastrous prequel, it hasn’t been diluted at all.
