True Blood, the hit “Southern Gothic” Vampire series is the most watched show on HBO since The Sopranos. It’s based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries, written by author Charlaine Harris. And True Blood Season 4 is on its way.
When does True Blood Season 4 start?
It starts Sunday, June 26th, 2011 at 9pm on HBO. The first episode of the season is titled “She’s Not There.” The next two episodes are titled “You Smell Like Dinner” and “If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin?”
According to creator Alan Ball, witches will feature prominently
Actress Fiona Shaw (Petunia Dursley from the Harry Potter movies) will play a palm reader who is possessed by a witch
New to the cast includes Courtney Ford (Dexter) and Dane DeHaan (“In Treatment”). Jessica Tuck (Nan Flannigan) will be a regular now, and Allan Hyde will reprise his role as Godric.
Also new will be Janina Gavankar (she plays a shapeshifter), Alexandra Breckenridge (she plays a wiccan), and Vedette Lim. Daniel Buran will play Raoul, the pack master of the Shreveport werewolves
