Poltergeist Remake Being Produced By Sam Raimi
No Director Yet For Upcoming MGM Reboot
It has been reported that the Poltergeist remake will be produced by Sam Raimi (Evil Dead). Also involved in the project are producers Nathan Kahane, Roy Lee, and Robert Tapert. A director for the remake of the 1982 hit has not been named yet. The script for the new Poltergeist film is currently being written by David Lindsay-Abaire, who also wrote the screen play for the upcoming Raimi-directed prequel to The Wizard of Oz
