Tokyo Restaurant Biohazard Cafe Based On Resident Evil
Resident Evil Themed Restaurant
A new Tokyo restaurant that opened in early July 2012 is based on the Resident Evil video games/movies. It’s called Biohazard Cafe and Grill, located on the 7th floor of the Shibuya PARCO.
The theme of this Japanese restaurant is based on Resident Evil – customers get to check out special props and memorabilia from the games as well as marvel at a 3D projection of a Tyrant (Resident Evil fans know that a Tyrant is a Bio Organic Weapon / Super-soldier Monster developed by the evil Umbrella Corporation). Thanks to the magic of projection mapping technology developed by Koozyt, the Tyrant suddenly awakens and tries to break out of its prison only to be defeated by the S.T.A.R.S. girls (an all female “task force” who comes out with “firearms” and rockin dance moves. (Note: S.T.A.R.S. means Special Tactics and Rescue Service, which was a branch of the Raccoon City police department).

Biohazard Cafe also has other events in store for hungry customers and some guest appearances too – for example, Greek kickboxer Nicholas Pettas is the cafe’s “Chief Commander.” The restaurant only has plans to be open for a year, so Resident Evil fans will want to check it out ASAP.
